Chapel in Gothic style (circa 1400) with brick turret and natural stone spire. Originally it belonged to a neighbouring convent which became a girls’ orphanage after  Reformation. Having been used as an armory for the city, the chapel became a weapons depot for the Republic of the Seven United Provinces in 1630. In 1919, the façade was restored and windows reconstructed. After several functions, used again as a Roman Catholic chapel since 1966. Turret was restored in 1987. In 2003, the original slate roof was repaired.

Due to church services, the Sint Hippolytuskapel is not open to visitors of Open Monument Day Delft on Sundays.
