Rare example of typical South-Holland barge, built in 1904 and modelled after 17th-century tow-barges. The ship, with characteristic prow and box constructions on front/rear deck, is one of the first examples of engine-powered barges. From around 1915, the ship was used as a cargovessel by Delft company Van der Well. Having been used as a house boat for 30 years, Nooit Gedacht was carefully restored (2009/2010) and fitted with a rare 18hp Van Rennes engine (1904).
Today, it is used for boat trips on canals in Zuid-Holland.
The Pakschuit is normally moored at Korte Geer 1. But during Open Monument Day 2024 the mooring is at Hooikade 13, opposite Bacinol 2.
