This city brewery is located near the Heilige Geestkerkhof, where a brewery was located in the early 13th century. Two historic cellars were found during a renovation under the building. The front one dates from the early 15th century; the rear one is one of the oldest cellars in Delft (1325-1340). This cellar contained medieval bricks, Delft blue tiles and fragments of a beer mug from ca 1350. The bricks were reused during the renovation of the tower of the Oude Kerk.
